Hi!

I am Mia, a UI/UX designer with an extensive background as a game artist in casual games. If you know the game Candy Crush then I can brag about having created the candies!

I switched path because I want to get closer to the players, or as we call them now - users. How do they think, what annoys them, and how can I help them get a better experience?
This interest puts both researching and prototyping close to my heart, with ideating just around the corner.

I have worked in startups as well as big companies, and in both cases I am self organized and easy going. From the game industry I am used to working closely with other disciplines, as this is essential to get the best outcome.
Collaboration is key; I don't believe in silos.

King

Senior Game Artist

I produced graphics for several King games during my years at the company. The most successful game is by far Candy Crush. While working on a game for Royal Games (previous King.com) I was free to chose which theme and art style I thought would fit best, and from there I created the graphics, everything from UI to game assets to animations and visual effects. When Candy Crush became a hit I joined the start up team for Candy Crush Saga, and worked with it for about one year before returning to the part of the company that was creating new IP:s.
